About Me

My Photo
I joined Particraft as a demonstrator in April 2008 and am also an independent demonstrator for Creative Expressions. I have a passion for cardmaking and have been teaching at workshops for the past 5 years including on cruise ships. There is nothing to compare with the thrill of seeing someone complete a project after they have told you that they haven't an artistic bone in their body! It's a great hobby that anyone of any age can enjoy. I'm married to Steve who almost understands my addiction to craft as he's addicted to his guitars. Between us, we have 4 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. I run workshops at my home and am also starting a craft club in September 2010. If anyone would like details of the workshops please e-mail me at stephen.smith870@ntlworld.com

Ally Pally

We had a great time at Ally Pally and thank you to everyone who took the time to come and say hello...it was lovely to meet you all.
Here's the Particraft team ..Lynsay, Lynn, Maria, Michelle, Viv and me. This was at the start of the day...we were all looking a bit more frazzled by the end!!!
I hope you enjoyed the demo's and managed to pick up one or two goodies. Of course, we only bought what we really needed; just a few vital supplies! Roll on next April and we can do it all over again!

This was another card that I made as a sample for the show and is probably one of my favourites. I've used the Winter Wonderland stamps by Sam Poole and have stamped them onto Nestabilitie tag shapes with Distress Inks. The backing paper is a double sided A4 sheet from Creative Expressions and the ribbon is from Particraft.
I punched the flower out of the same paper, shaped it into a Poinsettia and added some vellum leaves.
As I made about 60 samples for the show I won't put them all on here (I really wouldn't inflict that on you!) but I do have another couple that I'll add over the next few days.
Anyway, just a quick catch up so until next time..........keep crafting!!!

Glad you had a good time. If there wasn't an ocean and a continent between us I'd have been there.
Your card is lovely. I don't know about anyone else but I'd love to see all 60 of your samples. Your cards are delightful and I learn so much from you.
Blessings Bernie

Hi Pam, wow what a beautiful card! Wish I had had time to pop on over to your stand and say hi but I was demoing for both days and the stand was sooo busy. Are you going to Birmingham, if so, see you there, hugs Heidi (#32) xx
