About Me

My photo
Hi, I'm Pam and thank you for visiting my blog. I have been making cards for over 10 years and am an independent demonstrator for Creative Expressions. I am lucky enough to teach on cruise ships and also get the chance to demo at The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at Alexander Palace. I run workshops for a local craft shop and if anyone would like details of the them please e-mail me at stephen.smith870@ntlworld.com I love to scrapbook but my all time favourite thing is to get messy with ink!

WOYWW

Good Morning All, it's that time of the week again when we get the chance to have a snoop around other crafters desks!  A very big than you to Ms Dunnit for organising this marathon every single week.

Anyway, here goes with yet another example of a messy workspace.  One day I will surprise everyone and it will look pristine!

Following the weekend journaling workshops at the Artistic Stamper in Faversham, I have embraced all things splodgy, inky, painty and generally messy (no change there!)
This is a journal page that we started at the workshop and here is what I did with it today.

No, I don't know what it means either!  I'm not sure what it says about me, but I'm sure that a psychoanalyst would have a field day!!

I've been playing with Sam Poole's fab stamps again for the Creative Studios Design Team Blog and have come up with this one.

I've used the Art Flower A5 Unmounted Stamp set, Cosmic Shimmer Misters and Distress Inks.  There's a full step by step on the Creative Studios blog (didn't want to put it on twice) and the link is on the right...just click on Sam Poole Designs and go to the Design Team header.

In other news, it was very strange seeing things I had made on Sam's shows on Create and Craft....they summed up my designs as "quirky"....I think I'll take that as a compliment!!

Now for todays travel photo.

Somewhere a little closer to home this time.  We always go to the Larmer Tree Music Festival and this is what it was like last year.  It was so muddy that my wellies split along the seam.  We've booked again for this year so fingers crossed!!

Anyway, that's it for today.  Many thanks for stopping by and leaving comments, I do appreciate them.  I'll try to get to as many desks as possible over the next couple of days, I managed 90 last week so apologise if I didn't get to yours!
Just to say that the blog candy is still up for grabs and will be drawn when I get to 300 followers.  Until next time, have a happy and crafty week.

Love your journal pages and I am always so happy to find the link to the blog rather then the WOYWW post - I always get to see so much more to make me go OOOOhhhhh. I know some don't like it, but for me, it is a total WIN. Love your Dylusions journal page, as well as the dripping background from the workshop!

Fab pages I'm only just starting to do art journalling. Keep finding I need things!! Thanks for popping by. No Crystal Palace here but we do watch out for them because of Ian Holloway. He is ex-player/manager of Rovers and is a legend at our club. So I follow his career and always cheer on his teams. He's doing well!!Take care Zo xx 29

Love those pages and love the muddy wellies photo - a complete change from the sunshine ones you have been showing us but welcome as always.
A secret - I can still cry over my little dog I lost in '93 - and the two cats since then. It doesn't get any easier I am afraid. Unconditional love!
Hugs, and Thanks for visiting me earlier Pam - Neet 29 xx

I think 'quirky' is complimentary in art - to me it means that you can flit from style to style and use the best of each - a skill indeed. Love the pink page..it doens't have to have a meaning, right? Art for arts' sake!

I love the dribbly paper! Did you see the artist on Spring Watch unsprung last night? Brilliant use of atmosherically damp water colour paper! x Jo

Hi Pam! It's nice to meet you. I love meeting new WOYWWers. I rarely get visits from people in the lower numbers because of the time difference. So thank you for taking the time.

My you sound like you live an exciting life. How much fun travelling and teaching crafts on cruise ships. I looked through a few of your older posts because I am always fascinated with other cultures and countries. Great photos.

I love the stamp you used on today's post. Very nice. I always want to play with my inks and paints but I think my neat freak stops me. I have some masks I have been dying to use. Must jump in.

Thanks for the visit!
Have a blessed day!

Inky and messy is fun to do and to look at. My approach to journalling is more about having a place to play than expressing something deep and personal, or that's what I'm telling the men in white coats!

Thank you for stopping by.
Happy belated WOYWW,
