In spite of my repeated promises to myself to tidy up it still hasn't happened, maybe next week! So here it is!!
As you can see, there are assorted ribbons, Spellbinder dies, masks and embossing folders as well as sample cards for upcoming workshops. The brown drawers in the background have stamps in and on the shelves is my collection of cardstock. I just noticed some ribbon weaving on there as well!
Now on to more pleasant matters! Here's this weeks project for the Creative Studios Design Team Blog.
I've used the Enchanted Souls set of stamps for this one and I've posted a full step by step on the Creative Studios blog so I won't so it again on here. The link is on the right, just click on Sam Poole.
A couple of weeks ago I had a chipboard mini book lurking on my desk and some of you said that you'd like to see the finished thing. Well, I did finish it and it's on yesterday's post if anyone is interested. It took a while to do as I wanted to use a lot of stamps that I haven't played with for a long time. I was quite pleased with how it came out though.
So now for today's travel photo. I've been researching the family tree and found out that this is where my great, great grandparents were married and my great grandfather was christened. It's the Parish Church in a town called Ibstock in Leicestershire. It seems as though we lived there from the 1500's.
Don't forget the blog candy!!

Tidying up is overrated, I reckon! So long as you have space to create :)

Oh that book is marvellous! I love the way you used the G45 paper. I am so tempted to buy some more G45, as my supply is dwindling. Really like your little wall hanging too. Julie Ann xx #68

The "tidying" up on your desk looks all too familiar!
I'm sorry for anyone who's never seen a kookaburra :) They really are interesting birds. I will try to remember to put a pic up of one on my clothesline!
Happy WOYWW,

Hi Pam, thankls for stopping by. That's a lorra lorra stuff on your desk! How interesting you are doing your family history. My sister has been doing ours but I don't think she has got quite that far back. Happy WOYWW Cindy
Nice WOYWW desk, but oh the book! So so pretty and love the colours. Good luck with your family tree - never know what you might find :) We have both an actual Saint as well as an executed murderer/bank robber in the same branch of our family tree....
:)
Happy WOYWW!

Love your fun stash of goodies today! I seem to be seeing a lot of Spellbinders users today. Happy WOYWW! Thanks for visiting me too! Sandy Leigh #22
Oh my goodness look at all those dies sitting there on the desk, gosh I could do some damage with them. I didn't see anything else on the desk so I am unsure as to what you are worried about. What mess? Great book. Oh and the assignment my DD is doing she chose the subject herself not the school hence the great delight of play and masquerade. Thanks for visiting was great to have you pop in.
Happy WOYWW

Hi Pam why would you want to tidy with all those lovely dies on your desk.
Happy Wednesday
janet #42
There's no need to tidy up unless you can't find anything you want, or there is just no space left to work in!
Thanks for calling by earlier. The cookies were well received, and Yes, the lemon slices do go well in a G&T, though today they mostly went into the jug of iced water, as most folk were driving! Kate x #45
OMGosh. You have more dies than God!! How lucky you are. Have a super WOYWW from #17.
How interesting to research your family! What a beautiful church!
Your desk, is what I call creative chaos and I love it!!
I seem to have freaked a lot of people out with the "specimen bottles". They are craft ones and they look cool with nails in them for steampunk pieces!!
xxDaniella#8
Wow, there is so much work in your book. Absolutely gorgeous and I love the wall hanging.

I love messy desks and that church looks like the church in my hometown (a very small village in the region Zeeland, the Netherlands) Old indeed! Thanks for your visit to my blog the other day. Happy solstice and happy ~ belated ~ woyww. Keep on rockin' and a hug from Holland, Marit #70
Your desk isn't messy it's just projects waiting to happen. :0)
Have a great week.
The tea has probably gone cold by now because it has taken me so long to get around everyone but its okay! Great mini-book in the previous post!
Thanks for sharing your family history, I think it is very interesting!! Your desk looks like I would like to come over and work at it very much! all those spellbinder dies! Yummy cardstock!! Thanks for stopping over at my blog!
Ginny M#50, have a great weekend!!
Tidying up is so overrated. Who wouldn't rather be crafting? Your tree project is great. A really simple colour scheme, but very effective.
Thank you so much for visiting, I'm just sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you.
Happy belated WOYWW.
Cheers, Rachel #57
Sorry my last comment disappeared into thin air--darn it!!! Loved your mini album and your funny fish story too. Happy belated WOYWW!
