About Me

My photo
Hi, I'm Pam and thank you for visiting my blog. I have been making cards for over 10 years and am an independent demonstrator for Creative Expressions. I am lucky enough to teach on cruise ships and also get the chance to demo at The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at Alexander Palace. I run workshops for a local craft shop and if anyone would like details of the them please e-mail me at stephen.smith870@ntlworld.com I love to scrapbook but my all time favourite thing is to get messy with ink!

WOYWW

Good Morning and Happy WOYWW!

If you're not sure what this is all about, go to my link on the right and have a look.  For curious bodies like myself, it's a great way of having a little look-see at other people's desks and what they're up to!

Mine, as usual, looks like a bomb has hit it!  To be fair I'm assembling bits for a project for the Creative Studios Design Team.  It's being posted on the Creative Studio blog tomorrow complete with "Step by Step" photos but I will also post a picture of the finished piece on here.  For the step by step, please visit Sam Poole (the link is on the right).

A card that I did manage to finish was this one.  I'm quite pleased with it as it's not my normal colour scheme (trying to get out of my comfort zone).  The stamps are the "Wise Owl" set from Creative Studios and I've used Barn Door and Wild Honey Distress Inks.  The background was make using the Falling Leaves A6 stamp again from Creative Studios.

And finally, another photo from my travels.  This time I thought I'd post one from Venice again.  It has to be one of my favourite cities in the world.  I wouldn't want to go there in "high season" though...it's also one of the busiest with tourists!
You can just see the Bridge of Sighs in the background.  This was taken from the ship as we sailed in at 6.30 in the morning.

Hope you all have a happy crafting day and many thanks for dropping by and leaving all your comments.
P.S.  Don't forget about the blog candy...as soon as I hit 300 followers I'll be making the draw.

Wow, that photo of Venice is gorgeous. I have never traveled outside the US, so that is a treat.

Looks like you are making an arch. Would love to see it finished, too.

When your workspace looks, as if a bomb hit it, then it only shows, there is creative work going on. And the result is wonderful. Love that owl!

Wow! Love the sound of your job! I've never been on a cruise but I really want to someday, especially if I can still do some crafting while aboard! :) Your desk doesn't look too bad at all, at least we can see some of it, unlike mine where not a square foot is peeking through! :) Thanks for stopping and leaving me a comment. What a fun little owl card. Love the little clock eyes!
I would love to see Venice some day. My dad was there about 1953-1954 and I have pictures of him there. Looks like it would be a lovely place to visit.

Your owl card is great! I wonder if he's all one stamp or if you "built" him with multiple, as I see his eyes are clocks and his beak is a scissors. Nice color combo, too. Happy WOYWW from Laura #154

The owl card is great. Love the stamp and since I am in a major yellow phase now, I am totally drawn to your colors. What a beautiful photo you ended your post with. A Bridge of Sighs. I think Venice might be getting REALLY close to the top of my I need to go there list. Thanks for helping with that!! Also for the visit - I seem to be running late this week. Enjoy!!
