Hi, I'm Pam and thank you for visiting my blog. I have been making cards for over 10 years and am an independent demonstrator for Creative Expressions. I am lucky enough to teach on cruise ships and also get the chance to demo at The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at Alexander Palace. I run workshops for a local craft shop and if anyone would like details of the them please e-mail me at stephen.smith870@ntlworld.com I love to scrapbook but my all time favourite thing is to get messy with ink!

WOYWW

Good Morning and a very Happy 4th WOYWW birthday to one and all.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and wasn't it wonderful to see the sun shining even if it was only for a couple of days!

Today's view of the desk isn't really of the desk, more like next to the desk.  I've been having a clear out of bits of paper, card and old rubber stamps that haven't seen the light of day since Noah was a boy.  Unfortunately, they're all too good to throw away so I have decided that my friend Jo is going to be the lucky? recipient of this lot!!  That's what friends are for, isn't it???
Jo, if you're reading this, please DO NOT leave the country or move house without giving me a forwarding address!  I keep on tripping over the bags every time I try to walk around the table.  You'd think they'd be big enough to see!!

Now for today's card.  The wonderful, yet slightly naughty, Sam Poole set her design team a challenge this week.  Make a purple card using the Enchanted Tree stamp set.
Well, I can't resist a challenge so here's my offering.

I've done a full step by step (with piccies) on the Creative Studios blog.  The stamps are gorgeous and really versatile.  Sam is an amazing designer and I just hope I've done her stamps proud.  The other DT members are posting their takes on the stamp set this week and all with a purple theme so stop by and have a look.

Now on to the travel photo of the day!
Another photo taken of the River Cam from the punt at the weekend.  It was just so tranquil and the weather couldn't have been kinder.

Don't forget the blog candy...it's still up for grabs.

Until next time, have a very good crafty day and thank you for visiting.

It’s amazing that the internet can bring together so many likeminded people and I’m grateful that WOYWW has also brought along so many new friends, thanks to Julia.

Oooo, another one having a clear out but if you’re anything like me it’s hard to part with stuff, even if it hasn’t been used in years.

Enjoy your Wednesday snooping on this very special Day
Happy Crafting!

I just unloaded a bunch on a dear friend of mine and she was ever so grateful...one man's trash is anothers treasures. Love the card. I have floated the Cam...went to Cambridge as a scouting trip and the boys were treated to an excursion punting the Cam. DH got his punt caught in the muck and was knocked into the river...not such a nice thing. Happy WOYWW 4th Anniversary. Have a great week. Vickie #14

Happy 4th, Pam!

I love purple and o by default I am in love with your purple tree card! I live near the River Itchen and it also has scenes like this, although the section of the river that runs through town is too small for boats. Thanks for popping round. I work several pieces at the same time so I don't get bored of the designs, which is bad when that happens and puts me off for months at a time. Have a great week, Lucy #22 x

Hi Pam, thanks for your comments and good wishes - Happy WOYWW4 to you too! I love Sam's stamps and I am ashamed to say I have two sets that I haven't used yet - just can't seem to find time to do ethm justice. But I'm thinking they might be taking a journey to Wiltshire with me on Saturday! Cindy #51

I really like your card and I'm not even usually a big fan of purple, still looks like you did her stamp justice to me. :) Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me an encouraging comment. I hope the flush goes well, too! :) I know what you mean about K & Company papers...so far I've just been eyeballing them and contemplating all the possibilities...someday I may actually cut into them! lol Have a great WOYWW ~ Deeyll #29

Happy 4th ...you have made me feel guilty as I was meant to have a sort out 3 or so weeks ago but life and its problems got in the way.
That is a gorgeous card ...love the colour... beautiful photo too.
Thanks for your good wishes health wise ...it seems to be a perminant problem which would be helped if I had willpower to diet and stay off sugar...thats why I'm experimenting with low sugar tea breads...they already have no fat(except for an egg) ... as I NEED cake. lol xx71

That tree is incredible. Love it, from the color to the composition. Had to laugh at your tripping over those bags. Sorry, but I thought it was funny, since it is something I would do.

Hi Pam-
Have I told you how much I love the title of your blog?? (either a million times or not at all I'm sure). So clever. Those weeping willow trees are gorgeous. We have beautiful mountains in Alaska, but no weeping anythings...we can grow about 10 different kind of trees - kind of limiting, but at least it finally turned green here. And I bet Jo will be ecstatic with her new found fortune. Hope you have some lovely summer days ahead of you!

What a lucky crafter Jo is to have such a generous friend!
I love the travel photo. Rivers are so tranquil!
I looked back and saw your flower fairy card. It is gorgeous. I have one room decorated only with my collection of flower fairy items - plates, clocks, pots, pictures etc. I have one of the original books too.

I laughed at the mention of being an aging hippie at the festivals. I wonder which ones you go to. if you see a small stall called Jonny P's coffee stop, go and intoduce yourself. It is my son. He spends all summer doing the festivals, and then the food markets over Christmas, and he brews a mean coffee. (Sometimes he doesn't have his cart and is in the mobile shop instead). Don't do too much head-banging! Kate x #44
