About Me

My photo
Hi, I'm Pam and thank you for visiting my blog. I have been making cards for over 10 years and am an independent demonstrator for Creative Expressions. I am lucky enough to teach on cruise ships and also get the chance to demo at The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Show at Alexander Palace. I run workshops for a local craft shop and if anyone would like details of the them please e-mail me at stephen.smith870@ntlworld.com I love to scrapbook but my all time favourite thing is to get messy with ink!

I Like Your Style!

Back again and a Happy Tuesday to you all!

This week I'm using the Antique Dressform Stamp Set for my Creative Expressions Design Team Project.  I love this set of stamps, it's so versatile and you'll get a lot of use from it.

For this weeks card, I've stamped the same dress form 5 times with Perfect Medium Ink onto a strip of Coconut White Cardstock.  The central one was heat embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Denim Lilac Aurora.  Either side of it, they are embossed with Raspberry Blaze and the 2 outer ones with Regal Arctic Aurora.  Do use an anti-static bag before stamping as it will stop the "bloom" from the powders.

The background has been made by inking through the Buttons Mask with Dusty Concord Distress Ink then stamping the scissors and sentiment with the same ink.
Distress the edges of the background and the panel.

Matt and layer the panel onto Black Foundations Cardstock and add a row of lace before gluing onto the background.

Colour a piece of copy paper with the Dusty Concord Ink and die cut flowers from the Spellbinder Daisy Patch die set.
Stamp the scissors onto the flowers and layer them up.  Glue the flowers into place and add a Creative Expressions 5mm pearl to the centres.

It's a quick and elegant card to make and having made the background yourself, you know it's going to be the right colour match!

That's all for today, I'll be back next Tuesday with another handbag card, hope you can visit.  Many thanks for stopping by today and leaving comments.

Until next time..............
